As AI increasingly integrates in the design process, how does primary human-centered research maintain its critical role? Join our Strategy Director, Cameron Hanson, and a panel of industry experts for a crucial conversation on ways to complement and contend with AI technologies.

The discussion will cover:

  • The most promising applications of GenAI and LLMs in user research today, as well as some of the biggest risks

  • What tasks should remain in the purview of human researchers to maintain ethical rigor and authentic human insight

  • How research teams can adapt their methodologies and skillsets without losing focus on the lived human experience.

Getting to our studio

The easiest Navy Yard entrance is Sands Street (marked 1 on the map), as it is most direct from the subway. Please note that Cumberland Street (marked 2 on the map) will be closed for construction through March 2026.

Our entrance is between buildings 41 and 127 (our building). When you enter our building, open the interior door to access the elevator for the 3rd floor.

Please have your event confirmation email with you to show the guard attendant for entry. Let them know that you are here for a Smart Design event.
